Edinburgh World Heritage/News/Temporary closure of Tron Kirk
17th March 2020
Rebecca Leary
In the light of recent government guidance concerning the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Edinburgh World Heritage today took the decision to close the Tron Kirk, effective March 18th, until March 31st. The Tron houses the ‘Our World Heritage’ exhibition as well as John Kay’s shop, the Scottish Textile Experience, and the Edinburgh Welcome ticket desk. We will keep the decision under constant review.
We are also closing our office in Bakehouse Close and supporting staff to enable them to work normally from home. All our other activities remain operational for the time being. These measures will be reviewed regularly, and any changes will be communicated via social media channels and our website.
Your support is greatly appreciated. Please note that during this time, and until further notice, our normal office phone lines will not be in operation. If you wish to contact Edinburgh World Heritage please get in touch via email at info@ewht.org.uk or via the Contact Us form on the website.
